      Michael Krasner, Advisor
Mike is an entrepreneur with a track record of over 25 years creating and growing innovative businesses in emerging advanced technology markets. He was CEO and founder of InTouch Systems, a pioneer in developing voice-controlled systems and voice portals for wireless network. Mike began his career at Bolt Beranek and Newman, where he held several positions including president and founder of BBN HARK Systems Corporation, a leading vendor of speech recognition products, founder and Director of Operations of BBN Systems and Technologies Limited, a subsidiary that expanded BBN’s operations in Europe, and manager of all BBN’s activities in speech and language.

Highlights in Michael's career include:

  • PhD from MIT in electrical engineering and computer science.
  • Catalyst with the MIT Deshpande Center for Technological Innovation
  • an advisor for MIT NextLab
  • a coordinator for the MIT Enterprise Forum Digital Media & Telecommunications SIG,
  • and has been a judge for the MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition.

      Jim Meenan, MaRS Discovery District Advisor

Jim has held senior executive roles in finance and operations, including CFO of every major division of AT&T. He served as a consultant and board member of Joint Venture companies in North America, England, France, Japan, and Korea. At MaRS, he mentors technology and life science companies, working with them on everything from business planning and marketplace issues to contracts.

Roger’s career spanned the info and tech sectors, with extensive experience in financial management, analysis, operations, negotiations and change management. Now a consultant and investor, he helps young companies commercialize their ideas at MaRS.
